I forgot a HUUUUGE part of my trip to Ireland - the Cliffs of Moher. They are one of the 7 natural wonders of the world and absolutely incredible to see, but they are definitely vicious. The winds were so bad when we finally reached them that we all had a lot of trouble getting up the hills and on the paths. It really was absolutely gorgeous though - it's amazing what God's created. :)

They have festivals all summer long - everything from food to match making
Saint Patrick actually wasn't a saint but he did bring and spread Christianity throughout Ireland
Our guide informed us that the reason that St. Patrick's Day is such a worldly celebrated holiday and well known is because the Irish are everywhere - he told us their biggest export is people
26 of the 32 counties in Ireland are free state meaning the "Republic of Ireland" and the other 6 located in northern Ireland are part of the UK...the topic is still highly controversial today.
They also have more golfcourses than playgrounds
There are 3 islands off Ireland which look incredible and on are my bucket list to visit! They are true local spots and you'll have a tough time finding people who speak anything but the local slang language. They islands are called something along north island, middle island, and east island...quite original?
